Make Up and Late Work: Students are responsible for gathering their make-up work upon return to school from an absence.  The student will be allowed to turn work in the same number of days they are absent with no penalty. (ex: I was absent Monday and Tuesday and return Wednesday.  I have 2 days to make up my work.)  Late work will be deducted 10 points per day up to five days.  Maximum score after 5 days is a 50 until the end of the nine weeks.  No work = zero.

Retest Policy/Extra Credit:  Opportunities to earn extra credit will be offered to the entire class several times throughout the year.  The CHS-9 retest policy is that any student may retake ONE test per nine weeks for a maximum score of a 85.  Retakes must be taken in the FSC, and students must notify me they want a retake.  Students must remediate before retaking.
